جون-مارك جيديون

Mr. Gedeon holds a B.S. in Health Science from Middle Tennessee State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Welch College.

Before entering the classroom, Mr. Gedeon proudly served in the United States Navy as a medical laboratory technician. Following his military service, he spent several years managing and coaching teams in pediatric dental practices, where he developed a passion for leadership, teamwork, and mentoring others. He now brings those experiences into the classroom, helping students grow in both knowledge and character.

Why I Love Working at a Hillsdale School

Mr. Gedeon appreciates the emphasis Hillsdale schools place on academic excellence, classical methods, and the formation of character. He believes students should be challenged to understand the world deeply and think carefully about what they learn while pursuing wisdom, exercising prudence, accepting responsibility, and demonstrating the courage to do what is right, even when it is difficult.

Outside the classroom, Mr. Gedeon enjoys writing, spending time with his wife and children, exploring science, history, and theology, and cheering on the Tennessee Titans.
