Cathy Shelton
Fourth Grade Teacher
Mrs. Cathy Shelton is a Fourth Grade Teacher at American Classical Academy Rutherford (ACAR).
Mrs. Shelton holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.A. from Reformed Theological Seminary.
Mrs. Shelton has almost 40 years of experience in children’s and youth ministry, 26 of them in Nashville, and she has taught in scouting, athletics, and tutoring contexts for decades.
Mrs. Shelton first learned to love classical education while homeschooling her own children. She is excited to help her students learn the True, do the Good, and love the Beautiful at ACAR.
