Tricia Stickel | Chair
Tricia Stickel spent 25 years helping children and others as an emergency room and pediatric nurse, a clinical instructor for paramedics, and as an administrator. She retired to Maury County and serves as an election commissioner. Tricia enjoys spending time gardening, participating in her church community and politics, and being with friends.

Michelle Garcia | Vice Chair
Michelle Garcia has lived in Murfreesboro since 1996. She has over 20 years of experience in senior level management, independent management consulting, and small business ownership. She is currently the Director of Finance & Administration for Men of Valor, a Tennessee prison ministry and aftercare program. She co-founded Rutherford Students First and has worked with Latinos for Tennessee and the Hispanic Organization of Leaders and Achievers. Michelle is a Middle Tennessee State University alumnus, a military wife, and the proud mother of two sons.

Darrell Woodard
Darrell Woodard was born and raised in Springfield,Tennessee. Darrell was successfully self-employed for 25 years and currently serves as a county commissioner. He is an active community volunteer for afterschool programs and a board member for the Bransfield Community Center Project. He has been married for 40 years and has two children and five grandchildren. Mr. Woodard was a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner.

Jackie Archer
Jackie Archer and her late husband raised three children in Middle Tennessee. Jackie has spent the last 12 years advocating for parental choice in education. She has also served her community as a small business owner/operator, served on several boards, and coached a city gymnastics program for many years.

David Codevilla
David Codevilla has spent nearly 30 years enabling large corporations and government agencies to accomplish their missions through contract management and sage legal counsel. He is currently Assistant General Counsel at Tennessee Valley
Authority. David has taught classes at the University of Tennessee College of Law and served as assistant coach of the university’s rugby team. Mr. Codevilla earned a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and his law degree from George Mason University School of Law.

Thomas Biggs
Thomas Biggs earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University. He and his wife owned and operated a Veterinary practice for 25 years before moving to and operating a small farm in middle Tennessee. He has always had an interest in education issues.

Bryan Lewis
Bryan Lewis is a Principal Engineer who brings decades of experience in systems
planning and process improvement. Bryan values effective problem solving,
accountability, and fiscal responsibility – principles he believes are essential to ensuring
high quality education and stewardship of public resources. A graduate of Tennessee
Technological University, and a resident of Middle Tennessee since 1989, Bryan is
deeply rooted in the local community. He and his wife of 12 years are proud parents of
two children currently enrolled in American Classical Academy Rutherford.
