Adam Young
Fifth Grade Teacher
Mr. Adam Young is a Fifth Grade Teacher at American Classical Academy Rutherford (ACAR) and is thrilled to be part of the ACAR team. Mr. Young earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering and is now working on his master’s degree in Elementary Childhood Education.
Mr. Young has worked with youth and children’s ministries for many years, and he grew up in a household where children were abundant and precious. He is no stranger to showing children how to find the Good, love the Beautiful, and be True.
Mr. Young creates an encouraging classroom where children not only learn but thrive in a positive, structured setting. His students see the world from their own desks as they take a journey and discover new and wonder-filled things. A favorite line, after J.R.R. Tolkien: “Not all who wonder are lost.”
Mr. Young has two children of his own, ages 9 and 4.
