Angie Hazzard
Second Grade Teacher
Angie Hazzard is a Second Grade Teacher at American Classical Academy Rutherford (ACAR).
Angie Hazzard moved to Middle Tennessee in 2019 with her family and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in teaching and mentoring children and youth. She received seven years of training in classical education through Classical Conversations, and brings 16 years of homeschooling experience, 10 years of tutoring, teaching, and directing homeschool tutorials, and 23 years of experience in children’s and youth ministry. She is thrilled for the opportunity to bring her experience and her passion for education to ACAR.
As a mother of four, two of whom have graduated from homeschooling, she is deeply committed to the field of education and plans to pursue further training. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and also has experience in the corporate business world.
Angie Hazzard is passionate about classical education and is excited to be part of the ACAR team. She looks forward to using her experience, knowledge, and love of teaching to encourage and inspire her students.
