Angie Hazzard

Third Grade Teacher

Angie Hazzard moved to Middle Tennessee in 2019 with her husband of 23 years, Shelby, and their four children. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in teaching and mentoring children and youth. Angie received 7 years of training in classical education during her time with Classical Conversations. With 16 years of homeschooling experience, 10 years of tutoring, teaching, directing in homeschool tutorials, and 23 years of experience in children’s and youth ministry, Angie is thrilled for the opportunity to use her experience teaching at ACAR.
As a mother of four—two of whom have graduated from homeschooling—she is deeply committed to the field of education and plans to pursue further training in elementary education. Angie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and has additional experience in the corporate business world.
She is passionate about classical education and is excited to be part of the ACAR team.
