Mr. MacIsaac
Assistant Head of School
Mr. Alec MacIsaac has a decade of experience working in a Classical K-12 school setting, both as a teacher and an administrator. He earned his B.A. from Thomas Aquinas College and his Master’s in Humanities with a Classical Education focus from the University of Dallas. His favorite works of literature to teach are Homer’s Iliad, Odyssey, and Plato’s Republic. He loves getting students to debate the moral questions those works pose and appreciate the beautiful imagery these Greek authors illustrate. He is excited to be a founding member of ACAR and to be a part of building a school community that he is proud to send his children to.
An American Classical Education
Our curriculum places a strong emphasis on language, content-rich subjects, a solid foundation of core knowledge, and an in-depth exploration of the historical, literary, and scientific legacies of both the United States and Western civilization.
