Ms. Piazza

Educational Assistant

With over 30 years of experience in education, Ms. Dina Piazza has had the privilege of working with students and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds, helping them develop their English language skills and achieve academic and communication success as an interpreter and translator. A Puerto Rican born in New York; Ms. Piazza moved to the island during her teen years. She is an alumna of Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where she studied Political Sciences and ESL Education.

Ms. Piazza’s extensive career includes roles as an elementary school teacher at Christian Day School San Juan, Puerto Rico, Early Childhood Education teacher at Angels Academy Brentwood, TN, Special Education Educational Assistant for Metro Nashville Public Schools, and Administrative Assistant and Technology Special Area EA at Murfreesboro City Schools. She is also an active member of her community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Rutherford County Library systems (RCLS) and participating in Latinos for Tennessee.

Passionate about being the bridge that connects the parts involved in communication, Ms. Piazza is committed to supporting each student’s unique journey. She is thrilled to be a part of our wonderful school community as a Support Staff member specializing in English as a Second Language (ESL) and as an Educational Aide.
