Shannon Williams
Third Grade Teacher
Shannon Williams is a new teacher at American Classical Academy Rutherford. Mrs. Williams
was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended the University of Tulsa where she
received her B.A. in Organizational Communication.
After moving to the Nashville area in 1999, she raised her children and worked as an
administrative assistant and substitute teacher within Metro Nashville Public Schools. She then
moved into the property management industry where she sharpened her communication and
conflict resolution skills.
Most recently, Mrs. Williams served as director and teacher at a Mother’s Day Out program in
Murfreesboro where she fostered early childhood development in a nurturing, faith-based
environment.
Mrs. Williams’ true joy comes from helping children learn and grow, both academically and
personally. She is honored to support and inspire her students each day and to facilitate a love
of learning.
